About Us

Health First was born out of a need felt by Food Industry experts based on their practical experience of dealing with operational challenges in running Cafeteria operations. Health First aims to offer a simple integrated system to connect ecosystem of food that includes regulators, food industry and consumers. The core team of Health First brings together an eclectic mix of entrepreneurs and business professionals from the Food Industry and the Information Technology Industry.

About Us

Dr. Mamatha Mishra

A seasoned food safety professional with a deep understanding of connecting regulations with implementation. She is a Hygiene Rating Auditor under the FSSAI scheme, National Resource Person for the FoSTaC program of FSSAI, lead auditor for ISO 22000 and a lead auditor on ISO 9001:2015.

In her role as the National Resource Person of FSSAI, she has trained the Government’s Designated Officers and Food Safety Officers both at the Central and State levels.

She is a recipient of AFST(I) – FSSAI Award 2021 for her contribution in the field of Food Safety.

Food has the potential to spread disease and act as a breeding ground for micro-organisms which may cause food poisoning. Food Safety is a field of science that outlines the methods of handling, preparing, and storing food to prevent illnesses caused by food. It encompasses several procedures that must be adhered to evade serious health risks.

Menu Planning & Calorie counting

With our deep experience in nutrition, we review menu to ensure a healthy balance of macro and micronutrients. We also categorize and label food items based on their calorific value, type and allergen information.

Food Safety Training

We are an authorized FoSTaC training partner for Catering and Manufacturing sectors. The training covers introduction to hygiene practices, good manufacturing practices and safe service.
